The Herbalist's Journey

is your guide to life after herb school–– when your herbalist path really begins!

 

 

Led by seasoned herbalist Shereel Washington of Ixalted Natural Body, this 3-month mentorship program is designed to help you find your footing and build confidence in your applied herbal knowledge.

Through practical scenarios, community connection, and expert guidance, you’ll gain the tricks of the trade needed to flourish as an herbalist.

This program also offers valuable learning materials to help solidify your skills and prepare you to practice in a way that inspires you.

Unlike traditional programs focused strictly on Western clinical herbalism, Shereel’s approach is rooted in heritage and healing.

She believes that reconnecting with your traditions and the wisdom of your lineage creates a richer and more authentic path to herbalism.

 

Duration:

3 months (6 live sessions, 2 per month)

 

Timing:

1st and 2nd Monday of the month from 2:00-3:00PM PT

 

Session Format:

  • 1-hour live group sessions on the 1st and 2nd Mondays.
  • Interactive discussions, guided exercises, and practical takeaways.
  • Access to a private group for ongoing community support and resource sharing.
  • Small group environment - limited spaces offered to keep things connective.

About your Mentor

Shereel Washington is a clinical herbalist and the principal of Ixalted Natural Body Care & Botanicals, specializing in custom herbal formulations. She has over 1,200 hours of training from the California School of Herbal Studies, focusing on advanced therapeutics.

Shereel teaches at events like the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium and advocates for natural health care and Black North American herbalism. Recognized by People Science and Cornell University, she also collaborates with Traditional Medicinals.

Additionally, she is a skilled martial artist, dancer, teacher, and performer.
